sure there is enough room to physically fit them there in the well, but the sub requirements call for too much air space to sound good. The available air space in the well is barely enough for a sealed box. The L7s sound way better ported, but that needs almost twice the space as a sealed box.

A single L7 15 calls for a minimum of 1.5 cu ft for sealed and 3.0 cu ft for ported. 3.0 is probably a little big for a thirdgen, especially after the port. Why anyone needs a 15 inside a thirdgen is beyond me anyways.
They just (think) they want the boom!

i have 2 15 hx2s in my 91 z and they sound awesome im bout to have a box built for my subs and ported tuned to 30 hertz (: just something you gotta love lol

I'm running 2 18"s sealed and there around 3.0 cubic or so each (seperated chambers of course). I cut out most of the plastic pieces though.
To get an L7 15" to fit you'll probably have to mount it off to one side because I doubt you'll have enough room with the pulldown motor. You could always find the specs and make a mock-up piece from cardboard that'll give you a better idea on sub placement.

It's purely a street pounding toy car. I found the subs and stuff super cheap on eBay. One of my friends was using a ported 12" W7 in his Monte Carlo. I was just looking for something no one back home had or even thought of yet. One of the local shops told me there was no way to get 18"s to fit and even if I did it would rip the hinges on the hatch. The first shop I had build the box was horrible so I decided I might as well give it a try myself. Like anything I do I always seem to go over board.... At least I can hear something more than the "budget 383" motor screaming through 4" exhaust and race muffler.

If You Need A Ported Box For L7 Kickers On Your Third Gen, You Can Get Them On eBay, They Work A Lot Better Than The Sealed Ones Because There's Not Enough Space To have Two Of Them Hitting As It Is And With No Air Flow To Them You have To Make Them Work A Lot Harder & They Blow Out So If Anyone Plans On have More Than 1 L7 I Would Reccomend The Ported Box You Can Buy On eBay, Or Get 1 12" JL Audio W7 In A Sealed Box And You'll Be Hitting A Lot Harder Than 2 L7's In A Ported Box.
