What are some other boxes that will fit 12" subs that i can make for my car other than the one that takes up the whole well in the trunk. Just lookin for some other options.

Your box is dependent on mounting depth and cubic volume required for the sub you pick.

Camaronewbie, did you make a box for your subs there or is it just a peice of wood going across the back. If so does it sound good. I think i saw your post that you only had 1 sub under there and the other one is just a cover.

it is always best to build the box to the sub's specifications, as you'll get better and more accurate output. i built my last one to only take up the bottom half of the well and it worked very well. a bit of a tight fit for a 12", but it is doable.

When i get my subs on saturday or sunday im gonna experiment with them and different spots i can put them.

I had a friend in high school that did this. Just a wood "flap", that was hinged towards the front of the car. Two 12's in his. Worked excellent, very powerful. Likely not a very tight/crisp response - but that's the price you pay I suppose.

Other people have done a fiberglass box in the spare tire well, or perhaps a shallow box over the gas tank. Not a ton of space in these cars either way

There is 7 cubic feet+ in the hatch area. It's just most people aren't willing to go to that extreme. Like I said in my first post we can all throw around ideas all day long but they need to be designed to the subs. Some subs fit some don't and then you need to figure cubic volume you need. Most brands give you measurements easiest way is just make cardboard mockup of the subs you want and try different positions.

No its just a ported box and it had roughly .8 cu ft per sub but it wasn't sounding good for the style of music I like so I rebuilt the box for a sealed and its great. I decided to point the subs down so that I could still put groceries in the back and since I put feet on the bottom the subs don't hit the floor when they kick. Planning on moving the amps into the spare tire area for a fully stealthed system.
