L69 L hanger

Thats what my car has along with DR rods. The car runs great but am I missing something? In my searches this dosen't seem to be a common hanger. Should I try another hanger?

I don't think I've ever seen an L, but I've seen plenty of N's. IMO, L is too lean. I'd move up to a G hangar at least.

I'm currently using the 'G' hanger with the DRs--way cool! Anyone try a 'B'?

No, I have a "G". Carbs unlimited was out of stock last time I checked and my car hasn't seen the pavement since then.

I'm running a "E"hanger in place of the "L"hanger i used to have, big difference when you set them side-by-side.My problem is finding a set of those DR rods that everyone is so fond of.I swear, every carb i check for metering rods has the L hanger,ch rod combo in it.Does this "carbs unlimited"place have a web sight?Any other place you can buy metering rods?

You can purchase rods and hangers from edelbrock. They are cheap, better than used.

I bought my DR rods from GM, part # 17053659. Check out http://www.carbs.net/index.htm for for rods and hangers. MtCamaro, the CH rods are stock. I went with AH rods with G hanger first, then DR rods with G hanger. Both are improvements, big improvements, over stock.

B hangar is in the car now. That's what was recommended by a Quadrajet guru. You can get it from Edelbrock(P.N. 1960) a whopping $2.95 each.

I just ordered B & G hangers from Summitracing.com for 2.69 each (or 2.96) shipping cost more than the two hangers.
Craig
I ordered the DR rods from my local chevy dealer for $12.74. Not sure yet if this is for the set or one. They have to special order but it only takes a couple of days.

I finally swapped the G out for a B with DRs--most impressive. Highly recommended.

Thanks guys, its been awhile since I posted this but it's looking like I should try both a G and a B hanger. With the new cam and headers, maybe the B will be the way to go?
