Car: 1987 Camaro Z28
Engine: 305 carb for now
Transmission: 5 speed
probably an easy one
What should I look at first, when I rev from under the hood I can't get my secondaries to open up let alone even budge unless I open it myself. I can't seem to find anything within here of similar problems except that my accelerator pump may need to be adjusted. Does anyone else have any suggestions as I keep looking??

Car: '83 chevy camaro sc t-tops
Engine: 350 sb .03 over
Transmission: t-5 five-speed
Axle/Gears: stock axels 3.73 and mini spool
normally you won't be able to see your secondaries open by snapping the throttle. the opening is based on load and revving your car in neutral it has very little load. what type of carb?

I believe its a 4 bbl quadrajet 600 cfm, but I'm not 100% I'll have to double check the serial number off of it.

Car: 1982 Trans-Am
Engine: 355 w/ ported 416s
Transmission: T10, hurst shifter
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
suggestions for what?
are you actually having a problem?
your secondary throttle blades, will open if you twist the throttle by hand, but not your secondary air valve. Unless your secondary lockout tab is locking your secondary throttle blades, normal when the car is off, or cold.
So don't sweat it.

yes, the problem which I should have stated before is that there is no power. I can start it and have it idel fine, and even have it drive semi normal, but it just doesn't seem to have any real power. Or at least, when I compare it to my other smaller cars with smaller engines (as this is the only 8 that I've ever had.)
