Holley Fast Idle Cam

Holley instructions are that the fast idle is factory set at 1500/1600. So... On start up, should the initial idle be 1500/1600 and as the car warms it steps down to curb idle? Or on start up, should the idle be higher and steps down to 1500/1600 until the car is warm and the cam drops off to curb idle?

Re: Holley Fast Idle Cam

Let's say the choke cap (duration) is set to an acceptable position. Engine cold. The accelerator is pushed to the floor, which puts the fast-idle screw on the first step of the cam. Correct? And it's there on the first step that the screw is used to adjust the fast idle either up or down? Correct?
