Warning about this guy on ebay. I bought some parts from him and promptly paid him the $370.50 when I won the auction. That was back on Sept. 10/07. Still have not received anything and he doesn't have the balls to even return my emails admitting he has stolen my hard earned cash.

Just got a message and full refund from Denny. Guess he was just slow to react to my complaining. No one's perfect, thanks Denny. So I will retract my previous statements. But Denny, check and reply to your email more often dude.
Well on Dennys behalf. Most people know he is my friend. I call him sometimes and leave a message and it's weeks till I hear from him. He is always busy stripping cars and trying to keep up with shipping. He is only 1 man and takes care of a family of 5. He receives 1000 to 2000 emails a week. I've personaly seen him sleep with his eyes open. He lives and breathes to keep our thirdgen hobby alive. Never seen him screw anyone on purpose...and on a rare instance it does happen i've seen him take the replacement part right off one of his rare cars to make it right

I bought bought a set of gold crosslace wheels from him a couple of years ago off Ebay. He had them list as dimpled, 2 fronts, 2 rears in excellent condition. What I received was 3 rears or fronts I can't remember, 1 front or rear, 3 dimpled and 1 non-dimpled. 1 wheel was so bent and you could tell from 50 feet or more, all had bad curb rash, clear coat was wasted and had corrosion. Not 1 of of them was close to excellent condition. I will give him this, he refunded my money including shipping and he paid for the return shipping. I won't buy from him again and I find he over rates the condition his parts when I look at them on Ebay. He does have a pretty good feedback rating on Ebay for how many things he sold. You can't make everyone happy all the time, you will always get someone who expects mint parts for basement prices and wants overnight shipping at ground prices.
I have bought many, many parts from Denny over the years. He has never ever ripped me off. However he is a very busy guy and is slow to emails and phone calls. Those of us that deal with him on a regular basis know this but those that don't would not know it. All of the parts I bought from him I have picked up and never had to have any shipped since I live local. He is a stand up guy and also sponsers a real big gathering on Memorial Day weekend every year. He is just plain hard to reach but he is NOT a scam artist.

he has a good rating and someone is really speaking of him well. I say just keep in mind it will take some time to get parts. one "burn" out of thousands is no big deal.
With the volume that Denny does we should all give him a break. Even huge companies have issues at times. Here is the story how I got a negative hit on my Classified rating on this site.
1. A 17 year old guy and his brother come over to buy a low mileage engine for his S-10 from me and I give a 30 day warranty if the engine is already out.
2. 28 days later he writes me and ask if I have a good 700r4 for a car a 3rd gen. he just bought.
3. The next day he wants his money back for the engine because his parents are mad at him and want him to return it and get the money back.
4. I know this is BS and I tell him to have his parents call me, his brother calls and acts like his Dad. I tell him to have his Mother call me and I will give his money back. She never calls.
5. He and his brother make threaths to me and my home over the phone and I have to get the police involved before he does something stupid. I don't want to see any 17 year old or anybody else get a police record over $200.
6. He leaves me negative feedback on this site 1st and I return the favor.

- 90-92 Firebird/Trans Am/GTA dash switch panel (triple)
Waited for over 60days for a delivery, nothing arrived.
Contacted Dennis many times with a shipment address his best answer was I will see where the package is and never got back to me.
Cost is not high that’s why I can’t be bothered with it.
If I would spend more then I would be angry. No I just write on this forum as a warning to you all not to buy from this looser.
For those who say give it a brake this guy is doing his best I say I wish someone took some serious money from you and say I’m doing my best to give it back to you
If you can’t do something right just don’t do it at all.
wish i would have read this sooner...
i bought a steering column($90.00 + shipping) from him on the 10th. i haven't heard from him since then. i know it's only been 18 days (compared to 60+) but everyone else i buy from can get it out a lot faster. i've e-mailed him and sent messages through e-bay to him and haven't heard anything.
well, i did finially get my part...took forever for him to respond to my e-mails, but he did respond. he's ok, just a little slow getting things out
This isn't the first time I've seen someone complain here about this guy.
I have bought a couple parts from him on ebay,and I have nothing but totally positive to say about him.He listed the parts perfectly,I won them and rec. them in a weeks time.
I just bought a hactch latch from denny and in about a week it arrived and from what I can see it is in good condition. Now who knows how to install one of these? When I bought my car the PO had already taken it out and I wasn't expecting anything this size and don't know where to start. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear you guys regarding the quality of parts. One's interpretation can be different to another. So when ever I see comments "excellent" condition, I question the seller everytime, as I've been burned over this before. So...Everytime now I'll ask the seller before I buy like "Don't mean to be rude man", but one's interpretation can be different to another. Then usually he or she will come out with the truth like...yea..there's a small scratch on the side...etc..etc...
