1. He sends me pictures of the intakes, which seem to be legit. So we start to discuss payment.
2. I call him the next day, and we talk for a hour about cars and his car and everything else, and he seems to be legit. He tells me that he still has another intake still for sale. He wants an overnight money order for $475 for a brand new set of pink top accels, a brand new gasket set, the 58MM billet Holley TB, the polished intake, fuel rails, and used 24lb accel injectors. All sounds good. Damn good deal, but good.
3. I call my dad and tell him, and he says see if he will take $750 shipped for both intakes. I call him and he says yes, and also tells me that he has a brand new set of AFR 1038 heads.
4. I tell him that I will give him $500 for them, and he says $475. So I say okay, but I need to see some picture. He sends me pictures and they check out.
5. We agree on $1300 shipped for everything, but he STILL wants an overnight money order. I say no way, and he says he hates paypal, so we try to discuss other methods. I finally suggested COD, and he said it would take him too long to get his money. We are still at a stand still. I want paypal, he wants an overnight money order.
6. He calls me out of the blue, and says he reactivated his paypal account. So I wait on mine to get verified, and it does last night at 10:00 or so.
7. I go to send him the money, and it says he has been a member since June 1, 2007. He calls me at 11:00 or so and says he got the money, but he can't beleive they charged him $38 (3%) for the transaction.
8. He then calls me back and tells me someone tried to hack into his account but it's ok, the money is still there, he will call me this morning when it gets shipped out.

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD

Luckily, we caught it very very early.

9. He doesnt call me this morning, so I try to call him and he will not pick up or call me back, something he always did before I had paid him. I call 411 and get his home address and phone number and call his house.
10. His mother picks up and says "yeah hold on george is right here." So he picks up and seems surprised to talk to me. He tells me that the orders are shipped and he is waiting on a tracking number. He will call me with a tracking number within the hour. This is the last time I talk to George.

Here's the kicker:
11. I then go on the board and ask who else bought a stealth ram from him. Immediatly someone PM's me and says they also bought 2, and someone else bought one. He also bought an extra set of 30 lb injectors. So somehow he only had 3, was only selling 2 and keeping one for himself, and somehow recieved payment for 5. Something's not right here.

Luckily we caught it early, and the other person is trying to cancel his money order right now. I filed a dispute with paypal, and BB&T has also started disputing my claim. Luckily for me, I will not have to pay the $1300 that I should until this is settled. If 1991 Formula reads this and you have something to say, me and a couple others would certainly LOVE to hear from you. You still have time to save yourself from much federal prosecution. I would be willing to drop it if you gave me my money back.

I'll tell you what I hope. I hope that he really had 5 stealth rams and 2 extra sets of injectors and a brand new set of AFR's. I hope he gets back in contact with all of us, and clears this story up and we're freaking out for nothing.

Alright, here's an update.

I found out the address you all shipped your M.O. to (smallwood I assume), is his parent's house. He does not live there. I got their number, contacted them, and asked them not to give him the money orders. I will PM you all with the number I found so you can call and talk to him too. Feel free to chime in.

omfg i almost sold him parts before but sold it to another member on here,also i might be freaking out but i bought sum parts from a guy on here not to long ago and he says he hasnt got the money order i sent him like 2 weeks ago so im not sure if im freaking out or if im gettin screwed

I seen the add very early and was temped to purchase. But it didnt seem right, If it sound to good to be true, IT IS. I have always lived by this rule and it seems to work for me.

For others that have sent MO, I would contact his mother and let her now her scum bag son will get HER in trouble if she allows said son to pick up the money orders since it was sent to her home address.

Man I'm getting so leary to buy anything off the net anymore, good luck guys

Here fellas. File a complaint with these guys. Save ALL Emails and PMs that were had with this guy and fill out the form. I just went through this with another POS like this guy on another forum. I t took a couple months but I have ALL my money back.

Seeing as how you used PayPal for payment.....file a complaint with them as well.

Next time use a money order and send it by mail. Get an address and phone number and let the person know why you want it. Confirm the address and phone number are right. Its a criminal offence to not follow through on a deal using a postal money order. Make certain the seller knows your intentions if thyey try and fu** you out of your money

I just called her mother and explained what her son had done and the seriousness of this case. She replied that she has not seen her son for at least three weeks. I explained to her that he had received mail at that address yesterday since he had signed at the time of delivery, and I asked her for an explanation. She said: Leave me alone, leave me out of this, I do not what are you talking about. They(the police I assume) can not do anything to me, I am a woman under psychiatric medication!!!! and then hang up on me.

Just to update all of you -- i filed a complaint with the Internet Complaint Center, the US Postal Service Fraud Division and my local police department who said they would contact the Baltimore PD. Hopefully something will come of all of this. The police officer also told me to consider bringing a civil suit against him and suggested that for all of us who got scammed we go into together, which makes it more powerful. I'll keep you all informed and thanks to everyone who gave me the advice to do all this.

add me in for 600 bucks. i was the first one to fall for this guy. i hung out with him multiple times too. he brought his formula to my shop. i offered to paint it for him, do all the body work, etc. he helped me do a couple repairs on my car so i told him id do the paint if he wanted, he just had to pay for materials. well he wrote a check from his grandmother, and cancelled it before it went through. i had to pay the shop for the materials and i did all the work for him. i gotta run right now, but someone PM me and let me know exactly how i can get in on this too and ill give everyone as much info as i got laying around. i got a couple names and addresses of family members and such.

As much as a physical visit would be nice, assault with intent isn't worth the cost of lawyers and time in jail. Let the legal system do it's thing. I got taken on here and the FBI got my money back and it was only $50.00. So if this guy owes thousands of dollars he will have to pay it back. (Anyone got a wrecker, you could wait until he leaves his car unattended and part it out).And if his folks are in on it then a judgment can be rendered against them too. This plea about being on medications won't fly. Hang in there and let us know how it turns out.

I was just at the house today. His dad had a look of "Not again", his mom is a freaking lying ***** adn his meth cronies were across the street watching us talking to the police. They said about all we can do is file a claim in small claims court. Well if anyone was ever screwed by him shoot me an e-mail, kat136913 at yahoo dot com and I'll handle going to court to get this guy sent to jail and hopefully all of your money back (prolly not, if you saw the sh!thole area of baltimore that he lives in, it is meth/crack central)

The funny thing is his mom said that he hasn't seen him since january cause he ran off with some girl, the kicker is that his GTA was parked arround the street cause the trans was blown. Well it if its been sitting there that long, I would think that someone would have called for an abandoned car... (Parked on the corner of Furrow and Ramsay St Police non emgerency number is 410-276-8888)..... She was trying to cover her face off and on, changed her story a few times, even when the officer was there. Then she started hollaring at us that we were harassing her. All we did was knock on the door, try to get the MO. back and with her lying I had enough and gave her 30 seconds, before I was going to call the police.

Its litterally the meth/crack head losers like this a$$hole that ruins it for the rest of us.

Go to the local Main Post Office and talk with a Postal Inspector. Of course, they might be closed Monday and Tuesday but on Wednesday, get your lazy butt over there and tell him/her what is going on.
Small claims court....what a joke.
It only works when both CIVIL parties are trying to resolve something...not when a family tries to steal money from strangers at Christmas Time. Karma is such a bitch; his reaping is going to be worth filming.

I know you were just joking but since I have also been robbed by this guy and he stole $450 for a HSR please don't connect me with this scumbag in any way. I thought it was important to warn everyone possible of him as I wish someone had done for us before we all got taken by him since it seems this is not the first time he has done this. And yes you're right, he hasn't responded to any of my posts where I call him exactly what he is and that's a thief. Again, he only seemed to start caring about all of this when Kat showed up at his house and hasn't addressed anyone else who he stole from so it's more that he's a chicken s***. I am planning on sending Kat all the information I have to go forward with prosecuting him -- and can't wait!

This guy is rediculous! I buy a ton of things over the internet. Now I only use paypal with my credit card. I know that if I get ripped off my credit card will refund my money and go after the person who did this. It's pretty sad you'ld like to believe that most people are good and honest. Some one should tell this loser to get a job if he needs money that bad. I saw some of his rebutt posts and they seem loke posts from a cornered guilty person. If everybody who got ripped off goes after this guy then he will go to jail. Fraud over the telephone/mail service across state lines is a federal offense. Get this ***** thrown in jail so us honest people can continue buying and selling without fear of being ripped off! Please keep us updated! I would love to see posted pics of him in a prison outfit! I hope he gets banned! I don't want to deal with this type of person. Good luck with all of this guys and I hope you all get your money back.
