Aftermarket weather stripping?

Has anyone found a source for aftermarket weather stripping? Im needing the rear top seal, and the front seal, but I just cant see spending almost $500 from Hawks for 2 pieces of weather stripping. If noone makes it aftermarket, Ill make some calls and send some emails and see if someone wants to take on the task... I think I have a company in mind.

I need the front one for around the windshield as well. I think MrDude said something about SoftSeal or something, maybe he'll post up. I haven't contacted them yet, PLEASE do post if you find out anything.

That's new GM weatherstripping, not aftermarket.

Sorry,

I thought ANY weatherstripping that would fit would be OK. The prices there were better than what you had quoted in your earlier post...

I hope there is someone producing aftermarket stuff. It would be great to be able to get something without having to mortgage the house...

I dunno, but I have a REAL hard time justifying $275 for a piece of stripping. Now I know alot will say "typical third gen owner doesent want to spend money", but thats not the case. Ill spend money, good money, but not a rediculous amount like that.

Another place to try is PDI (Parts Distributor Inc) in Lawrenceville, GA. I paid a lot less than what your guys are quoting for my weather stripping, of course that was 3 year ago.
