Antother one on ebay
Wow, interested to see what this goes for if it does sell. If it's near the buy-it-now price, mine will be up for sale as soon as it's done It's only about 60 miles from me and it came up when I was looking for parts/cars near by. I have the original LB9 in mine though. 2nd and 3rd gen cars seem to be catching on a bit. I've seem many for sale by restoration/muscle car shops. I really hope these cars start selling for more so I can feel better about all the $$ I'm spending

Hmmm, this guy is dreaming. THis car isn't even original. He claims it a 5.7 ( a fact we know is not true with convertibles)when the vin states it came from the factory with an LB9. Now he claims the motor has been rebuilt, so is the rebuilt one actually a 5.7? Did anyone else notice that the seats and door panels are from a Firebird? Plus the car has been repainted. So he wants an absurd amount of money for a car thats far from original.

Odometer has been tampered with and likely rolled back. Numbers do not line up perfectly. A car with such low miles shouldn't need a new AC comp. or seats or roof. Esp. the roof if stored indoors as stated.
Many things about this car don't add up.
I think he's on glue.

The seller responded to my inquiry:
You are correct, the convertible did not come factory with a 5.7L. The engine is not the original, but it is a 5.7TPI, just as original. THe vehicle has been appraised for a higher value before it was painted. Since the body is rust free due to indoor storage and the low mileage, the value was placed. Seats and doors panels are a dime a dozen.

That is one sweet ride. I love my 90. I really love the look of the new dash and having 1 of 1294 is a good thing as well.

With regard to the seller's reply on seats/door panels -
GOOD, correct seats are NOT a dime a dozen - if they were, he would have the correct ones in his car.
And why would a car have a different engine and interior, AND have new paint?
My guess is it was wrecked, stolen, abused or just worn out. he probably dumped lots of money into it and now wants to get it back. If I wanted to have a good laugh, I would run a CarFax on it...
There may be a sucker out there, who knows. But I doubt it, not for that much money.

I would - if it were what I wanted, in my favorite color (blue), with grey leather, and maybe 2,000 well documents miles on it, with a spare set of brand new GoodYear Gatorbacks and the window sticker still on the glass. Like something out of a private collection.
Oh, and it would have to have $10,000 in the trunk.
