Use the ford taurus dual speed single fan. Got mine from work cost me like 65$ with my discount and outflows most aftermarket fans mods are minimal. But I went all out using a volvo 2spd fan relay and a bunch of fancy stuff car never gets over 150* with the fan running on low

Re: Looking for replacement electric fan ideas??

I just ordered a PermaCool fan # 771-19008 that pulls 3000cfm, the highest I have found. I am only replacing the primary at this time, it looks like the original. After I install it I am driving out to the desert to see how well it cools.

What were your temps getting up to and when (stopped/low speeds and highway speeds) before the switch?

Re: Looking for replacement electric fan ideas??

i just ordered the permacool fan as well so we will see how it works in FL

currently having overheating issue with AC on only

im changing to high flow water pump, changing intake gaskets (seems like a front leak of coolant) and upgrading 1 of the fans...

will post results within 2 weeks
