problem to connect with OBD2 diagnostic interface adapter OBD1 GM

hi, I have an ELM327 OBD2 diagnostic interface and bought an adapter OBD2 to OBD1 ALDL GM EBAY, my OBD2 works fine, but when I connect the adapter I have no connection. The adapter is sold to work from a OBD2 to OBD1 ALDL GM vehicles, so it should work on my Camaro 2.8L V6, but this is not the case.
What can it come?
And this a scam or is it the adapter down, or I miss there another object to make it work?
Please excuse my broken English, but help me please.

My OBD2 diagnostic interface:

I have never heard of a OBDII to OBDI. But I could be mistaken.

I know that some OBD1 cables work with early OBD2 or OBD1.5, so this has a possibility of working.

What program are you using to connect to the OBD1 vehicle?

Re: problem to connect with OBD2 diagnostic interface adapter OBD1 GM

I have tried various programs:
winaldl
pcmscan
scanxl and scanxlelm
datamaster
tunerpro and tunerproRT
and 3 other european programs
i have test ALDL TEST
and nothing
but I just watched adapter pin and nothing matches between OBD1 and OBD2 connector adapter:
ground ALDL is on ISO 9141-2 K LINE OBD2 pin
8192 Baud Data ALDL is on a unused OBD2 pin
...
Finally, it can not work like that
