24x Swap no Spark
Was previously running my sbc with the 0411 and dizzy 4x. Was hoping it would be an easy swap to 24x and coils but I cant get any spark, Not really sure if it's a tune issue or wiring issue, My tune is from a 2002 Escalade 6.0. As far as wiring I have 12v to coils, injectors, ckp sensor reads rpms, can see inj pulsing and can smell fuel. Have everything pinned like 99-02 Ls1. Using Efi's 24x reluctor and Holley timing cover, Reluctor is lined up. Using same cam and ckp sensors, Can someone help me out .

Can you list the Camshaft Position Sensor Part Number?
Are the CKP and CMP wired with 12V+ or 5V+?

Re: 24x Swap no Spark
They don't have 12v. Both read 11.5v on my meter, everything else reads 12.5. When I hook up the test light to check for the 12v ref on either cam or crank, it lights up really dim and slow, everything else, coils, injectors iacv have nice 12v and light up quick, I'm using the stock cam sensor off an amazon distributor, ill check part number, Crank sensor I am using a DR6200 for crank sensor and also tried a 12562910 I had laying around, Grounds are good on both sensors, signal from both sensors is 12v.

Re: 24x Swap no Spark
Just to be clear.
Those sensors need to have a Sensor Ground...
And NOT a Chassis Ground.

Re: 24x Swap no Spark
Not sure I understand. The pins on both sensors all go back to ecm, Ecm provides power and ground for these right? What is sensor ground?

Re: 24x Swap no Spark
You are good.
I only mentioned this as I have seen people alter the wiring and use a Chassis Ground.

Re: 24x Swap no Spark
If the CKP sees the Reluctor...
But the CMP signal is incorrect or missing, the Coils will Batch-Fire (instead of individually fire).
You say they do NOT fire...
I would start with a Crankshaft Position Re-Learn Procedure.
If that does not work.,. inspect the Reluctor Position and Gap to the CKP Sensor.
