Can a 27C512 chip be used in a 7730 ECU?
In a 165 ECU a 256k eprom can be used inplace of the stock 128k chip. Does it thus follow that a 512k eprom can be used inplace of a 256k eprom in a 7730 ecu. I think it will work and as with the 256k in a 165 ecu the 'top' half of the chip will be read.
I'm wanting to convert to SD but need a chip that will hold 2 bins. Switching A15 to either 0v or vcc should switch between bins
Thanks
Simon
