Does anyone know where I can get the equipment to burn Eproms for Mustangs????
I already have Tunercat definition files, UV eraser, and the pocket programmer for GM stuff. I would guess that I need something similar to Tunercat to complete the process for Mustangs.

I've heard of TwEECer, or whatever they call it.
It's all goofy stuff. I know a guy who does Ford tuning on the dyno. I've been there for alot of it. All I have to say is they pack the EEC full of the silliest stuff.
I'd switch the Mustang to 730 ECM before I learn all that EEC stuff...

It all seems easy with exception of distributer? Any thoughts?

check out the megasquirt pages, they have alot of detail on triggering ignition modules. If you can get that working, everything else is not so difficult. I beleive it was mentioned in your other thread, I think you just trigger a GM ignition module(heatsinked adequately) from the ford reluctor pick-up. Someone also did this with an international pick-up, which I think uses a ford distributor......

The distributor is the easy part. You can use an HEI module with the F*rd pickup, I believe you have to reverse the polarity? Not sure, but if it doesn't work one way, you can just switch the wires!
The difficult part is the IAC, although, you *could* just not use it by changing a few things in the bin. I know there are a few people here that don't use the IAC, I think it was someone with a TBI.

I am not really concerned about the IAC - can either mount remote GM or just not use at all.
Thanks again..
