Yes, that was the same bug that brought up the data logger on the [Esc] key.

Excellent software.

Maybe you should think about sort of making it modular so you can "plug in" new ECM types without having to recompile the program.

That is a good idea, but I will have to re-write a lot of code to do it.

I have been thinking about using XML to describe the ECM data.

I just released ver 1.05a.

Added support for 1227165 (1985-1986 TPI, 160 baud only).

Jonas, what language is your program written in?

Has any thought been given to combine the work of the Moates program with yours to combine the high-speed data with a slick windows interface?

It is written in Visual Studio C++.

The 8192 data is not only faster, it is also a more complicated two way communication. WinALDL will probably not support the 8192 data format.

This is another scanner tool I found:
http://www.starrperformance.com.au/efilivev4/
It is a windows software for 8192 baud ALDL.

One good thing with this software is that it uses XML files to configure the display and to describe the ALDL data. XML is just a text-file so new definitions can be added without modification of the software itself. Some definitions:

Unfortunately, it's $280 (US). That's not chicken feed. I was thinking that since your tool is free and so is Craig's that there would be a way to combine the two. Maybe I'll take a look this week since I'm off work...
