little confused

I am a newbie to eprom and chip burning so I am confused. I can't datalog with winaldl. It doesn't show data or connection to the obd port. I am trying to figure out how to do it with tunerpro and can't figure out where to do it. I have the com ports right and can even burn chips. (burnt 6 already). I am running a 383 with a bored tbi and 454ss injectors and reaaaallly need to see my data stream to know where to adjust. I would like for it to see pavement one day. Is there a difference in tunerpro and tunerpro RT? I am using the burn 2, G1, and ald1 and cabl1. Please help

Re: little confused

if your needing to know where to get TunerPro RT,
http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm

you'll need the right Bin Definition and ALDL Definition files too.
for the defination files, you can find some here,
http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm

there are a good number of files here, what you need may be there,
http://www.moates.net/info_pages.php?pages_id=14
be sure to enter the username & password from that page.

again, you'll need the correct files for your PCM and bin.

from what i can see, your PCM seems to use 2 different masks, $0D and $0E. i also found a reference to $31 for your PCM.
i don't know what is out there for $0E, if your PCM runs $0E you may want to switch over to $OD as its more popular.
if you are using $OE, you may need to do some repining to the connectors to run the $OD mask.

Re: little confused

Ok maybe I need to rephrase here, I am just having problems datalogging. I figured out that when you buy RT from moates that they send you an email with instructions. I already have burnt 6 chips with $od mask, BJLF bin, and tunerpro. Later today I will try to datalog so I can try and get rid of my stall when I put it in drive which I am sure is my com xe12-256-4 cam playing with my o2 sensor.

Re: little confused

Long story short. I downloaded RT and ecm wouldn't connect. Ecm was bad and I replaced it with a 7427 and it is a whole new ballgame with a working ecm.

Re: little confused

Ok guys. We have a success story! I started building this motor from scratch ( a bare block). Vortec heads, Eagle rotating assembly, GMPP tbi to vortec manifold, bbc injectors, bored out throttlebody, XE 256 cam small base grind, all the goodies from Moates. And LOTS of reading on here. I started tuning with a bad ecm and didn't know it until my obd port wouldn't throw codes. I changed ecms and started over. I set all my constants correctly and started tuning. I started to panic a few times but focused on the "Come in for a FREE Tune" thread. I adjusted my VE and got my BLM's close to 128 in all ranges of throttle and engine load. I have a successful 383 TBI! Now I just need a successful 4l60e lol
