Analog MAF Meter in use (HLM)

Should this flag be set or not for 87 Iroc 350 TPI?

It depends upon which MAF is being used. HLM is for the '85 '6870 ECM, which used the digital MAF.

The '86 - '89 TPI used an analog MAF.

thanks Rob, I still have the original 87 MAF installed, so I should uncheck the flag?

If it is a stock calibration and is currently checked, I would un-check it. Otherwise I don't know what the setting is supposed to be. I also imagine that the MAF input to the ECM will be on a different pin.

There isn't much info on the '6870 ECM around. So I can't be of a lot of help on it.

I too am interested in learning a little more on this subject.From what i can see in tunerpro rt If the box is checked it looks like thats setting it to analog.This is what it sure looks like to me,so unchecking the box would be in digital mode?

It says:: Analog MAF meter in use (BLM)

Then below you see the check box for setting it.I highly value your response rbob just confused because from what the tprt window looks like it appears to me like your supposed to check the box for setting the analog mode.I might just be confused and 99% of the time i am for no reason on any given subject.Thx!

Curious cdn_87iroc you are using a 1F bin and ecm with a 87 maf? Why not use a 1227165 6E ! I have all bought all the tuner cat definition for tpi years ago does tunerpro rt have a check sum for this address?

As I previously posted I don't know if it is to be checked or unchecked. I look at it this way, the stock set up used a digital MAF, so when going to an analog MAF I would imagine that the flag needs to be switched.

Having no hac of this mask, and the XDF I just downloaded not having that entry (I was going to check some stock BINs), I can't say.
