My number one issue is where is that freakin' Fuel Pump fuse labelled "FP" on the right side of the dash, according to my Haynes manual?? I need to depressurize my fuel system but I can't find the FP fuse.
Also, where can I find what all the fuse abbreviations on the fuse block under the steering wheel mean? It would probably make a great sticky topic in this forum.

In answer to your #1 issue, there is no fuse marked "FP" for the fuel pump on the right side of the dash or anywhere else in your car. The "FP" fuse was used in earlier models of the firebirds and camaros and later dropped. You must also remember that the haynes and chilton manuals are all very generic and cover a lot of years in very vague terms. As far as a listing of all the fuse abbreviations on the panel, perhaps this will help.
Going left to right across the panel.
ECM= ECM computer of course
INJ #1= left bank of fuel injectors
LID = hatch motor
FAN = coolant fan (radiator)
TURN/BU = turn signals and back-up lights
INJ #2 = right bank of fuel injectors
TAIL = tail lights & other exterior lights
HTR A/C = heater & air conditioning fan
GUAGES = instrument guages
SIR = supplemental inflatable restraint (airbags)
ACC = accessories
WDO = 30 AMP circuit breaker for door locks & pwr windows
IGN = ignition
INST LMPS = instrument lamps
WPR = wipers
RADIO = radio
BAT = battery
PWR ACC = 30 AMP circuit breaker for power seat or lumbar seat
STOP/HAZ = stop and hazard lights
VATS = vehicle anti theft
ARC = amplified radio control
CRK = crank
DRL = daylight running lights
FOG LPS = fog lights
in the convenience center fuse panel
HDLP DR #1 = headlamp door #1
HDLP DR #2 = headlamp door #2

Man I keep blowing my CTSY fuse....its the third fuse on the third row.....in my 88 GTA. Problem is when it is blown my spedometer reads 0 kmh and cannot be changed to mpg....and reads 0 even when the car is driving.....my odometer is completely blank, how does this fuse make my gauges inoperable when the guages fuse is working? Btw I have the digital guages....any input would help.

Oh okay. Yea that shcraeder valve on the fuel rail was what was concerning me, I guess I shoulda just did that to begin with. Thanks for the help.
