Passenger side fog light not working .... good bulb...what now?
Here's the scenario. I bought a really nice '91 Firebird from the original owner a few weeks ago and have just got around to fixing some of the minor issues with the car. The passenger side fog light hasn't worked since I got it, although the drivers side does. So I thought it was the bulb. Changed out the bulb and still nothing. I followed the wires underneath to a connector that's attached to the support frame and it appears to be connected there and the wires seem ok. At this point I'm not sure where the wires off the other side of the connector go and where to look next. Every other light on the front works .... both headlights, both turn signals, and the driver side fog light. The passenger fog light is the only one that won't work. Any idea on where to look next? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!
TIA!

Well, for starters a test light would be beneficial to you, and then it may help to pull apart connectors and look for corrosion etc..

Nevermind ... it's working now. I drove to a buddies house last night and I was going to show him what was up. When I flipped the fog lights on, both of them came on this time. When I had tested it previously, I had just installed the bulb, the clip that holds it in, and the ground wire. The only thing I can think of is that maybe there's some kind of grounding issue and the whole assembly has to be installed completely to work properly. It's either that or there's a short in the wire and it will eventually quit working again. We'll see.
