Re: Wiring Project...(pics inside)

i belive that the fues block is for some of the curtesy items, and the warnig buzzer and stuff, try looking up ctsy fuse and what it does,

as far as the red wire you found down by the header that goes on the positive terminal of the starter, on my car theres like 3 wires that conmverge into the one connector for that.

It's really hard to tell abotu a lot of those. most of these cars have been electrically molested over the years...I'll take a look at some of my diagrams and see if I can find anything for ya. If you want I've got a lot of diagrams that I can email you for your own reference.

Re: Wiring Project...(pics inside)

could the brown ones spliced together be a ground? have you tried tracing th ewiring and finding out where they go too? I think you're right about the green/white black wires. I think it might be from the A/C pressure switch.

I am just trying to get this thing to start with the key! thats the biggest problem, and if i get that figured out, i will be happy since this car is almost strictly for the strip... i will go take some more detailed pictures today... my camera was being really lame and shooting horrible pics....

Thats the plug for the power window/mirror/lock harness that runs into the doors. I only know that because I just put power windows in my car. Dont have to connect it to anything unless you add all that stuff later on.

If you need diagrams, you can find a ton on our ATGO Tech DB wiring page.

I'll be looking into my schematics as well. I'll let you know what I find.

Re: Wiring Project...(pics inside)

Check if the green/white happens to be the fuel pump relay wire. The orange might have been spliced into it as some kind of a hackjob.

The cut off orange wire is probably the second half of the orange wire from the splicing into green/white.

Is the green/white and black the same green/white that's spliced in the first picture?
It sure isn't for A/C.

Orange wire with fusible link goes on the big post on the starter. Once you connect it, a lot more things will suddenly have power in your car.

Blue wire goes to the knock sensor that's in the block, on the passenger side.

Hope this helps.
