Power issue
On my way home from work last night I hit a bump in the road and the car shut off. I have headlights, tail lights and interior lights, I don't have power to anything that the key has to be on to run. No starter, no fuel pump, no gauges, nothing, All fuses are good.
Any ideas?

Re: Power issue
Sounds like your ignition switch came unplugged. Follow large wires under dash to switch. Red, red, yellow(purple), pink, orange, and brown. If not check to verify power at the large red wires. The pink wire will be hot through crank.

Re: Power issue
I hope to get it home today and with any luck it will be an easy fix.
Thanks for your input,

Re: Power issue
Also check the fusable links near the starter. There are two man power lines that power the cabin of the car. It is possible you only blew one.

Re: Power issue
Problem found, the wiring harness had fell down on the # 8 header tube. Just so happen that the wire that hit first was one of the big red ones, when it grounded out it blew one of the fusable links at the starter.
Are these link something I can get from my local parts house? If not is there another option other than hooking it up directly and having no protection?
