Re: full wiring harness
Source a replacement from a JY
Since you're starting from zero, why not shoot for the newest year 3rd gen. 90-92s had the most updates and are more consistent for all engines
Also, Id suggest building a new engine control harness to support the turbo TPI. The stock ECM (any of them) wont like boost. Updating to LSx PCMs will handle it just fine and you're already going to be in the wires

Re: full wiring harness
thanks pocket for the help so your saying get complete wiring harness from bumper to bumber for a 90-92 car and pick up a compleate ls1 engine harness for my engine?
will the ls1 harness work with a 383 or 400 tpi engine i say this cuz i havent disided what im building yet.
other thing there is a ls1build for the 3 gen flooting around in the for sale section you think i should pic that up or start from scratch

Re: full wiring harness
Not a LS1 engine harness. Build a custom harness to use a LS1 PCM to control the TPI

Not this particular harness, but the procedure is the same. Only thing different from the LS1 harness is it uses 8 indiv coils where you're only using one. That one gets wired to coil #1's position. Dont forget the firing order change from LS1 to SBC on the injector numbers. Its a 2,3 and 4,7 swap

3rd gen half van be V6 or V8, makes no difference. The part that makes them EFI gets cut away
