Okay, I tried to post this yesterday, but for some reason it didn't go through I guess? Whatever.
I'm attempting to install a brand new wiper motor part number WPM168 and an electronic washer pump part number 6-100. I sourced the plugs and figured out where those should go and how they hook in, the issue is the instructions on the new pump say this pump replaces the pump, relay and circuit, and they want me to splice a red wire with a pink wire with black stripe. It doesn't say what red wire, from where it comes, and none of these wires seem to actually have a black stripe lol. There are two red wires on the wiper motor, I'm wondering if one of those is what gets spliced, and if so, which one and to what? And then, where does the other go? There is a prong that doesn't get used on the wiper motor and I'm wondering if one of the wires mounts to that? I'm new to wiring and the whole car has had to be rewired as the previous owner roasted the original harness. The original wiper motor and washer pump were also destroyed, so I had no reference either. I'm including some pictures, hopefully they help. I appreciate the help everyone. Thank you.
