92 Camaro won’t start I have exhausted all options
92 Camaro RS won’t crank please help!!! I drove it to the store the other day shut it off and hasn’t turned over sense. The VATS has been bypassed before this happened ignition lock cylinder was sticky and old so I replaced it today and still nothing no engine or security light only seatbelt and break light when I try to turn it over. The temp gauge shoots all the way up and so does the oil pressure gauge but nothing happens. I am at my wits end with this damn thing please help me out!!!

The vats wasn’t bypassed just moved the resistor from the ignition lock cylinder to the bottom of the column?
have you checked for voltage at the park neutral switch and or starter enable relay ?

The resistor is soldered into the male end of the plug that came from the old cylinder and plugged straight into the female end that runs to the VATS module and has worked fine for years up to this point. And I have not check the other relays but I will now lol thanks so much. Should I check for voltage while the key is on?

The easiest spot to check on the starter circuit is the starter enable relay under the drivers side kick panel. Check for power while holding the key in the start position.

The park neutral switch isn’t the easiest to get to but it’s a place to check for power.
The other is the ignition switch itself. But I believe you need to drop the column to get to it.
You can also see if the ignition switch and fuse box is getting power from the fusible link to C100 the bulk head connector.

Hello,
look if this is really the simple fix for your fuel problem.
Once I had a strange Problem: fuel problems, fuel pressure suddenly dropped. Replaced fuel pump about 3 times in 2 years and after every replacement it worked for a while. It also helped to clean contacts and fuses.
The problem in the end was a burned Connector on the C4 89 from outside into the Tank. It was not visible.
Check if you here the pump and be prepared to check fuel pressures or even install a little screen showing fuel pressure live.
All the best,
Max
