How many miles to drive with new battery before smog.
I need to get my 92 Camaro smogged. I just reconnected my battery since I don't drive it that often. I've seen so many different answers online about how many miles to drive. Some say 50 miles, others say 100 to 200 miles over a week to complete one drive cycle. I'm sure with the latter they're talking about newer cars. Though, I can't find anywhere online if this also applies to my 92 Camaro. I just drove it 65 miles today and I plan on driving it for another 20 minutes or 15 miles before I take it to get smogged. Is this enough? Thank you all for your feedback! Much appreciate appreciated!

All you need to do is drive it far enough to get the converter hot. How far is it to the inspection place? That should be enough.
Gas is cheap right now, even by CA standards so if you feel the need to drive around for an hour and a half, it won't hurt but it won't do much good either.

My 2000 Silverado needs 50 miles before it does a system check and will show a code

And that's because your 2000 truck is an OBD2 system that does record engine performance data which is readable by the smog check computer . Disconnecting the battery dumps that data that the smog check needs , so around 50 or so miles are required to build up that data . Our cars are all OBD1 , and in the State where I live there is no OBD1 connection to the smog computer .
KameroKid , does California have the smog tech connect anything to the ALDL during the inspection ? If not , warm it up good on your way to the smog check and don't worry about any specific number of miles driven beforehand ...

California doesn't hook up to the OBD1 connector. There's no information there that they could access anyway, that they can't get by just looking at the Check Engine light. If the light comes on with the key on & engine off, and goes out when the engine starts, then that's all they check.
They'll check the gas cap on a little vacuum machine, give it a visual, and if it passes the visual, the emissions using a specific driving schedule on the dyno. For the visual, they'll probably have somebody's Emissions Controls catalog and look up your car, and verify that everything the catalog calls for is where it calls for it to be, and that it all appears to be hooked up like it's supposed to be. They may check the ignition timing; if they do that, it'll be part of the visual but before the dyno, and then they HAVE TO disconnect the battery to clear the light afterwards.
No driving at all is necessary after changing the battery. You could even put a new battery in while it's already sitting on the rollers and it would be fine.

Thanks everybody for all your great answers! I'm glad I don't need to put a ton of miles on it like the newer cars. Thankfully, I haven't failed a smog check in years, and I live in California. One of, if not the worst states in America for smog laws. I only wish they passed a law out here that stated you don't need to smog your car after 30 years. 😎👍
