700R4 Cast Aluminum Pan
Minimal scuffs from installation and removal. Used very little. This is the deep pan. It hasn't scraped the ground or anything, but I'm planning on lowering the car, and was worried that it might, so I just put the stock pan back on. It is fully polished and has the drain plug cast into the pan. It is all finger-printed up, so doesn't shine very well in the pics, but I decided not to wipe off the finger prints for the pics, as it would probably glare too much. This is a really nice pan. $65 shipped.

I am actually looking for a pan like this but your price is a little too high I think...I can get a new one like it for $47 shipped with hardware and gasket.

Is $65 your bottom dollar? I am interested but for about half that price...let me know what you can do.

That is a good deal on that pan, but if you read more closely, it's a stock capacity, not a deep pan. The deep pans usually go for a little over $100 with all the hardware. If you don't want an extra capacity pan, that one on ebay looks like a sweet deal, and I'd get it. But no, I won't drop my price to half.

What all is needed when using a deep pan? Do you still use the same filter? How much extra fluid?
Thanks, and I'm just curious, mostly.

Same filter; just has extra fluid capacity. I added a cooler, so adding the extra volume, I figured I didn't need the pan running dry, so the extra capacity would be a good idea. However, it doesn't hang down that far, and it is still probably above my SFC's, and if I lower my car, it might not be very speed bump friendly

Ya know, after thinking about it, if I didn't install a filter with a longer pickup, it probably wouldn't make a difference how deep the pan was. I might have to redirect this question to the search function, as I'm not really sure now. Will the stock one work, yes it will; would it be better to get a longer one, probably, because you could make more use of the extra capacity.

It came from Speedway. I believe it is 1" or 1.5" deeper than stock. It hung down about even with my Spohn crossmember.

Some of the 98+ s10's came with deep tranny pans(stamped steel). So you/whoever buys could use a trans filter for a 98+ s10 with a deep pan. That way you dont have to "special order" a common replacement part.
(btw, nice looking part but I currently have a manual or Id grab it)
