I am selling a twin turbo kit for a small block chevy for 1982-1992 camaros and firebirds. Everything is brand new and never used. The turbos and headers were only test fit one time. It is a complete kit with intercooler and 2 t3/t4 hybrid ball bearing turbos. I am only selling because i ran out of money for my project car and need money for other parts to get her running. I paid $3500 for them but am willing to consider any reasonable offers. If you are interested contact me and i can get you pictures and a complete parts list.
yea i got it off of ebay about 4 or 5 months ago

Whomever is interested, i am not asking 3500. I am open for reasonable offers or a trade for a supercharger of some sort preferably.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
that kit is a cheaper kit with different and less parts. it is not the same as the kit i have. but depending on your engine set up, power leves should be an estimated 700+ hp.
Your kit looks identical to the cheaper ebay kit. Some parts might be better, but 2500 better? Does it come with a fuel management system or any tuning aids?

whether or not a turbo is worth it for you is really your decision, if your engine is completely stock, no its not worth it, you need new heads, lifters, camshaft, ect ect otherwise you will just blow out your engine...
I can be worth it even in stock trim. I put 8000 of the hardest street miles on my twin turbo iroc-z I built myself. I had a bone stock L98 with a holley stealth ram. The car trapped 124 mph in the 1/4 with a t56 and 3:08 gears. I was running a FAST ecm. I pulled the motor and it was perfect. The motor also had 70k on it before I boosted the crap out of it with 12 psi on pump fuel for a full year. Its all in the tune take the word of people who have done it. Then I put a 355 in it with good heads trw pistons and stock crank/rods and drove it for a full year with no mercy, it went 130mph with less boost 8 psi. That engine is fine although I was realy conservative because I didn't want to put a stock rod through my afr heads. With that said your motor will be on borrowed time if your tune sucks. I just made sure mine was always rich.
it also doesnt look like it comes with any connections for the TBI/TPi ........
although you would obviously need to add more ****.
i think on ebay it also stated it doesnt cme with oil returns or a fitting for the oil pan.
but the kit i looked at was the 888.99 one.
New guy here. I have had my eyes on the 888.99 kit also. The add clearly
states that it is not a complete kit. As far as I can see there is no where `
near the pluming needed to complete it. But its a good start if the parts are worth s***.
i've seen pic's of simaler setup's. They look to hold every thing behind acc.
drives. You could get acc. drive from Gale Banks new ttsystem. I hear it's only 1500.00 or so.(I'll take two)
i saw another kit on therei dont remember which one but the headers looked different, and had the blow off valve pipes welded to them and they came out farther from the motor than the other style. im wondering if these would clear all the factory accesories... but if you have ac, i dont know about it clearing the heater box.........
luke
Has anyone installed this kit? If so...pictures? I was also considering purchasing this kit but am to worried about the headers clearing anything. I have tryed to get better pictures but they are all kinda the same. I have have a gutted engine compartment but still dont believe this kit will fit. I messaged the seller a week ago about a direct fit with no body or engine mods but he didnt answer.....Kinda fishy. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.
yeah that and the fact that it really doesn't look like the kit would actually fit a car with out serrious modification. While the headers/turbo stands seem to be OK quality based on how long they appear to be in the pictures they would put the turbos right next to the AC compesor and alternator. Then there is the fun of running charge pipe and getting filtered air to the turbines. I've seen twin turbo 3rd gens before and both times there were holes cut in the hood for the airfilters and the tops of the turbine. Looks sick but probably not everybodies idea of fun. Also that is a tiny intercooler for the power levels being claimed. I'm thinking about buying one of the ebay kits as a starting point and modifying the parts as necessary to make a TT sleeper out of my 88 but this seller is asking too much for what he has and hasn't responded to peoples PMs so I wonder.
Ok guys sorry havnt been back to reply to PMs and what not. I am not selling the kit anymore, im just goin to use the kit. And for adrian, gimme a Friggin break...tryin to get money in my paypal account? haha
That pic i posted is exactly what i have, i just never got around to taking pics of it. And i prolly did get ripped a little bit, and wasnt tryin to get anywhere close to what i paid for it but i did get the kit off ebay from eworldsales. i wanted to sell it cuz i couldnt find a fuel injection system that i could afford. the search goes on. any suggestions??
ill tell you right now the kit you got wont fit ive been down that road and the exhaust outlet of the turbo is gonna end up right at your frame. its best if you het the headders that put the turbos on top of the valve covers if you can get a downpipe for the drivers side and i had to remove my brake booster also. my personal opinion is its a lot less hassle to just go single, but thats just my .2 cents worth.
