700R4 w/stock converter V8 Topeka KS
I have a 700R4 w/stock converter out of an 86 IROC. I bought the car in pieces and am in the process of swapping over to a T5 and have no room in my garage for another transmission I wont be using. More interested in someone getting it for good use and to get it out of my garage than to make money. First $100 takes it. I will ship but imagine it would be pretty expensive due to weight and size. Trasmission is located just outside of Topeka Kansas 66402. About 80 miles west of Kansas City.

Do you know anything about it, was it running? I am guessing since it was out of an 86 it has a mechanical speedo connector on the tail shaft, not an electrical plug?

The guy I bought it from said that it worked. He had a very strong motor in front of it, so I would assume that the transmission could handle it. But I never had it in the car and running.

Too bad I live so far away. I would give you the money right now.. I need extra parts and pieces for numerous 700R4's.. Would you be considering shipping to 13601?
I don' t need the torque convertor if that cuts down on weight..

I would if I can get a truck and if payment was already sent. I dont have time to get it loaded up, drive to meet someone and not have them show, so I need to know your serious by sending payment. I have a paypal acct you can send it thru. Otherwise you would have to come to pick it up. Let me know asap so I can even see if I can arrange to get a truck.

I have cash so lets just plan on me coming out to you. I have a truck and that would probably be easier than meeting somewhere anyway. I will PM you with my info and you can call me to figure out the details.

If it's a good working transmission and it's still for sale then I want it. I'm in Topeka, Kansas and have cash in hand. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Erik
