RAM 78125 Slip on TOB
Used for less than 500 miles on my new TKO600, removing it because the clearance is marginal (.030") on my new TKO and since i am pulling my engine, now is the time to make the swap.
I'm taking the tranny out Saturday so I can ship it Saturday or Monday via USPS Priority or UPS, you choose.
GM Hydraulic bearing assembly Including bleeder kit, utilizing the 1.375" transmission collar size, 1 3/4" Compressed length with .700 travel
New is $149.99 + shipping
Yours for $80 shipped

Re: RAM 78125 Slip on TOB
I overstroked it two different times which made it leak so I bought a new O ring kit for it and did not put it back in, since my engine is out I rebuilt my stock hydraulic slave and will go back to stock.
If you want to buy it let me know and I can reply tonight when I get back home.

Re: RAM 78125 Slip on TOB
Have you been using a stock pull-style clutch with that Howe TOB? I ask because it's something that I've been looking to do but the TOB looks like it's for a push-style clutch. I can't quite get my head around how it would work. Thanks,
Jon
Hmmm, wait a minute. Do I have this backwards?

Re: RAM 78125 Slip on TOB
For an '84 Camaro it is push ? Pull type is '93-'97 ?
Also, I had a look at the installation instructions on Summit and they seem adamant that the master cylinder be a 3/4" bore. I've got the Mcleod adjustable MC ready to go in but it is 1".
Is the anything that could be done to keep from over extending the bearing?
Thanks,
Jon

Yes, if you have a stock 1984 clutch Camaro it is a PUSH type Pressure plate.
What transmission do you have, stock?

Re: RAM 78125 Slip on TOB
If you have the adjustable master cylinder you could probably adjust it according to feel and be ok. I used a Howe TOB on my t5 and am using the same one on my TKO. Im using the stock 89 master cylinder and the Centerforce DF clutch i have realeases about 1/2 travel of the pedal. And it is very little pedal effort compared to other cars and trucks ive driven. When my frinds get in to drive they think somethings wrong its so light. But yes to make a long answer short this should work with a stock clutch. And Bump for a GREAT TOB and GREAT DEAL!

I know the mileage exactly because the TOB went in with the new TKO and there is a lube break in period of 500 miles, and I only went 185 miles before I pulled the engine for a rebuild and weather got cold.
my loss, some one's gain

Yes i meant to put that into my post that you can fab up some kind of pedal stop to stop from over extending with the larger dia master cylinder
