full ported slp runners and port matched plenum. there is no inner wall in the runners.. that took forever.... also polished to a high shine.. very nice
i want $400 for it, seemed pretty fair to me
also have accel AFPR only ran for 100 njiles before i took off tpi intake wiith rails $50
what motor did you run this on...how big was the cam? how well did the ported parts pull and how much low end did you lose? How high rpms did it pull good to? lot of work done to the runners thats for sure...looks good
ran this on a vortec 355 218 /224 duration cam with 565 and 570 lift. i had it with a 3400 vigilante stall and it pulled hard. i have fueling issues in the gas tank and pulled the intake in frustration. later i found that my fuel pump hose had a leak and it was practically stirring the gas tank the whole time. i cannot honestly say what power it can take because i never saw its full potential. i ran a 13.6 at 108 mph with no slicks, shitty 60 foot [ wheel spin]full interior and 2.77 rear end gears!! lol I only was making power to 5000 rpm but im sure it was the fuel issue. [ all i was running was 39 psi [it wouldnt pump any more than that]]
The intake was very grunty in my opinion but my converter was too high.
i can honestly say i have something like 80 hours of porting and something like 60 hours of polishing. this intake was my life last summer.
how in the world did you take out the center wall in the slp runners without cuttin them appart? what tools did you use to do this? This setup looks great, sure did some great work!
i used a die grinder and a 6" long aluminum specific carbide bit.. and a whole lot of transmission fluid and gear oil. then i took flapper wheels and stuffed them in to smooth the walls a bit.. i did go through in one or two spots that were thin but there were proffesionally welded shut and you cannot see the welds when the intake is on.
the intake comes with the slp allen bolt kit and tool, i also have the 1 3/4" tpi gaskets for this... these were very hard to get beleive it or not. these go with the intake.
$400 and you bolt it on. nothing else required
hey mate,
what's it flow?
what hp will it max at?
what revs will it hit the wall at?
I was going to get a HSR setup but that thing just blows the sh*t out of the HSR in the awesomeness department.
If it can handle 450-500hp and can keep tq/hp towards 5800-6000 I'll forget the HSR.
but its sooooo purrrrty!
I'm not gonna be racing the car a lot, its more for show than go.
I'm doing away with the ECU and going programmable so the HSR kit was just an easy option, but if you're willing to ship to cali. i can get a guy to ship it here for me now.
okay, did some reading of the other classifieds.....lets do $375 for everything i have this stuff all packed up really well with bubble wrap and cardboard. I can get shiping quotes to who ever wants them
