305 tbi to 350 carb
OK, in my 1991 RS 305 5,speed. I burnted a piston ring, and my computer system was going hay wire, so i got a 350 roller motor from my brother(Momar) and we rebuilt the shortblock. I have a 750 holley vacuum secondaries, and a vacuum advance distributor to put on my car. L98 Manifolds, Y-Pipe, and I-pipe. I am using a factory quadrajet intake with an adapter, to get the car running i am going to put my stock heads on there, until Momar changes his heads to his vortec heads he has. Then i am going to put his ported LG4 heads on it. Today i was going threw, and i was cutting out diffrent peices of the wiring, and I was wondering, i have cut all of the wires, except to my transmission(VSS). And to my sensors for the gauges, and my cooling fan. I was wondering because my friend said my gauges wouldnt work if i did that, but i had already cut all of the stuff out of the harness. So are my gauges going to work?
Desktop dyno also say i should get about 251hp and 431tq and i was wondering if that would be accurate, since i have an LO5, which would be the same cam as what is in a LO3.
Thanks in Advance

If you saved the remnance of the harness you cut, you can easily repair it. There is no way of knowing what will not work unless you know exactly what you cut from the harness.
As far as the belt goes you should try to measure it to see what length you need. I think there was a pully available for eliminating the somg pump, but I am not sure.
