hello from france

hi guys ,

My name is julien , i live in north est of france near luxembourg and germany.(between nancy and metz if you know this area)

i bought for the second time a camaro z28 E 1982 last month .
at first in 2007 , i bought a z28 E complete but with engine and transmission disacoupled....a this time i didn't know anything in mechanical .finally i succeed to restaure it one year later .
but i was obliged to sell it in january 2009 ...

one months ago i find the same car ...A camaro z28 E blue near switzerland with good condition from a guy who have a drag racing team .
the camaro is full stock and runs greats ...no rust and its very cool to drive this in france !
i love it !

also i am fan of oldies car particulary american and italian car .
i have got an alfa romeo v6 2 years ago and i am register in 3 or 4 forums alfas .
i drive everyday an alfa 33 trofeo with boxer engine ....great and very solid block but the rest of the car sucks.

i 'll put pics later....and i very sorry for my language , iam not very good in english .

see ya!

Re: hello from france

welcome, your english is not bad at all
Back in 1990,shortly after i bought my '82 z28,i checked
at the dealer to see if the z28-E headlight covers were
avalible;they were,but were around $68 per side if i
recall-more than i wanted to pay at the time...
BTW my z28 is just a little bit french-i have some "cibie"
#35 driving lights on it,they are '82 vintage

Re: hello from france

Maybe we will have to meet up I am in Bergues quite often for business. That is a nice ride for France! If you need some little parts I may be able to get some things over in a suitcase. I imagine thirdgen parts probably don't fall off trees over there.
