Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 peg leg
Plug for O2 sensor bung/JB Weld
I was wondering if what could be used to plug the 02 sensor bung (beside an old o2 sensor). Also, does JB weld stand up to the temps on exhaust manifolds?

jegs or summit sell plugs to plug 'em up. think thats what youll need, or if you can find a bolt with the same thread pattern you could use that, ive looked around and havent had any luck. Im not sure about the JB weld, im thinking NO but it might work.

Wouldn't just an old bolt fit? Or maybe a pipe plug? Or maybe the same kinda plug you use to block the AIR holes on your manifolds (obviously larger though)? All of those won't cost more than 0.25 at a hardware store

just to note:
YOU CAN NOT USE JB WELD ON EXHAUST.
it melts.
i tried telling my dad this when he cracked the manifold flange on his spitfire.
he did it anyway.
it smoked, it changed color, and it kinda melted.
he ended up buying a header.(hehe, its funny to say header instead of headers)
basicly, dont use JB weld on anything that goes over 300*....

JB weld is just a 2 part plastic epoxy. What about just a brass plug like you would find in the plumbing section at the local hardware store? Brass stands up to pretty high heat. Only downside there is that you're mating two dissimilar metals.
