header leak questions...

my car ticks when i accelerate. im sure its my drivers side exhaust gasket. whoever did the headers before me used one that looks kinda cracked up im guessing thats what this is. its definitly a header leak. but my questions are is this leak hurting anything? and also where do i go 2 get the gaskets? i work at a dealership will stock ones work? or would i have 2 go through edelbrock?

The noise and whatever exhaust fumes you're emitting under the hood instead of getting outside the car are the only hurts being done.

I've had headers on cars for over 30 years. I've never tried using factory type gaskets on them, though. I've been happy with Felpro 1404 and the Mr. Gasket Ultra-seals (I think I used 5901's, not completely sure), which are available at your typical parts store or speed shop.
