A.I.R delete in tbi help!

I am wanting to buy some hooker 2055 but he has delete the A.I.R pipe and i was wondering if that would mess up my engine if i install them or are the hose that are attached to headers do nothing. Or would i have to buy some other things if i want to delete that.

Well because you're in California you'll fail the visual part of the smog test.

Otherwise, read the sticky at the top that says "Can I remove my AIR from my engine?"

The computer does not monitor the AIR system so it doesnt care.

You will be just fine.

I deleted mine with the stock manifolds; plugged the holes, yanked the pipes and the pump. Its all good.

I have the hooker headers with no smog stuff and I never got a check engine light. Like Kevin said, it wont pass emissions at all, both visually and the sniffer...
