no issues. Remember there are also locking tabs on the factory manifold bolts. They are easy, a sharp flat head screwdriver helps to bend the tabs straight. The only issue i had with my headers was the blower box that was in the way on the passenger side and it was really hard to get at that back bolt. I ended up cracking my blower box. Not sure about the Hooker headers but i did my edelbrock headers from the top. I only had to go under the car to saw off the factory ypipe. I hope you have a matching ypipe for your headers.

I didnt see anything on some of my bolts...they look like normal bolts. I will have to take another closer look. I was planning on getting the headers on, then drive to the shop down the road(about 3 miles) and then have them fab up a ypipe to match my magnaflow dual cat ypipe( p/n 23479) and then drive it back home to install the magnaflow catback. Would it be easier to remove some of the bolts from underneath and remove the starter?

You also used Bosch 7985 plugs....right?

THat is what i did. I got a sawzall and cut my ypipe close to where it bolted to the exhaust manifold and drove it to the shop to have them fab up a small piece of pipe to join the ypipe and headers together. I did not have to remove the starter on mine. You may want to further research on here though because you have Hooker headers and I had Edelbrock TES.
