Dual Cat Y Pipe

Hey guys, what would you recommend for a y pipe into two cats? Yes I am keeping the cats. Should I go to one cat and if so, whats the best way to go about that? Or would I be able to get a one cat Y pipe to fit in to the two set up? Easiest way would be to just get a two cat y pipe, but where would I find one?

I am sixteen and ignorant on this so I have to be educated any way I can.

are you getting headers? what are your plans with the car? do you have anything else done with the car?

if its all stock, your money would be best spent on a catback exhaust, the hooker aerochamber i believe is the cheapest. changing just y pipe on stock manifolds wouldnt do much for you and probably wouldnt hear a difference either.

Re: Dual Cat Y Pipe

The y pipe is it the same for the 2 styles of exhaust manifolds

My car has the 305 with the injector tubes. where as the 350 doesnt have any exhaust injector tubes will the same y pipe work on both applications

Yes I am putting on headers and a cat back. The Headers wont fit the stock Y and so I am wondering where I will find a Y to fit the dual cats.
