Need help identifying metal bracket

So I'm almost done completely rebuilding my 1986 trans am and now I'm left with this metal bracket. No idea where it came from.

Can anybody identify this mystery bracket?

Re: Need help identifying metal bracket

Looks like a throttle or transmission cable bracket that would mount on top of intake by carb?

I'll double check if that's all configured correctly.

I was rebuilding the entire car and repainting it then something happened causing me to pause the project a few years so my memory fails me on where to put it.

Re: Need help identifying metal bracket

Could it have something to do with being a bracket for the headlight stuff up by the brake booster?

Re: Need help identifying metal bracket

I don't know, but I see a cable mount and those two angles at each end look like the hatch release area.

Re: Need help identifying metal bracket

This is the bracket that goes up under the front fender in the front area under the battery tray area and is a support bracket. You are missing a straight piece with bent ends that "triangulates" the top and bottom for support. I know for sure there is one on the driver side as i had to remove it to remove the steering box, but there could be one on the passenger side too, I cant conform or deny that without looking.
