$2500 1988 Formula 5 speed 305 TBI WS6 T-top 3.08 open drum
Location: West Bloomfield Michigan.
1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula 5 speed V8 305 TBI WS6. 10 bolt drum 3.08 open rear.
Car runs, drives, stops, air conditioning kind of works, questionably converted to R134 by previous owner. It has bumps bruises scratches and wear consistent with a car of this age and price.
Has new brake rotors, a rear wheel cylinder, front and rear sway bar links, a new Summit Racing 3 inch cat back exhaust, a new headlight motor, new ignition cylinder, and Federal 595SS tires with less than 1000 miles on them. No check engine light, runs cool, I’ve commuted 75 miles a day in nice weather.
Synchros aren’t grinding, but the trans input shaft bearings are getting loose and noisy. You can hear it idling in neutral and then then noise goes away when you push in the clutch.
Valve stem seals are tired so expect a puff of smoke on cold start ups. I don’t drive it on rainy days but I’m sure the tops leak. Driver's interior door handle monkey****ed by previous owner.
No radio.

I think somebody got a good deal here. I actually checked how much it would take to ship here and thought serious on getting it myself. I would have loved to had this one for an everyday driver.
