Air Ride Technologies "Cool Ride" suspension
If you've never heard of this set up, go get the current issue of Super Chevy. They installed it on an IROC-Z. I want this so badly...and I think if I get enough interest in it, Air Ride might go for a group purchase. Anyone interested? It will probably be 2-3 months before I can arrord to fork out the money for it, but I'm in no matter what.

I am interested
If it looks like a good setup I would participate in a group purchase. I need something to help me with the speed bumps and driveways around here while keeping my current stance. I will be shopping for the Super chevy my next trip to the magazine stand.

I've said this on several occaisions...if there's a group purchase organized with Air Ride, I'm unequivocally in. It seams to be difficult to arrange though. I'll be buying air ride either way when the time comes (Hurry up, painter! It's only been 6 months already!)

Will this let me drop my car significantly, then raise it for speed bumps and whatnot? I'm building an Evoluzione kit and need a way to drop the car seriously (4+ inches) without making it ride terrible.
If so, then I'm in!

Is anyone making the attempt to get this going? I would but I'm busy with exams for a few weeks. If nothing's developed by the time I'm done, I'll give Air Ride a call.

I am still very interested in this- is anybody thinking of calling this week? If not, I'll give a call on wednesday and post up any info regarding pricing.
So is everybody looking for the front and the back setups? I'm assuming we'll all do the control setup ourselves? Or do we want to include that in the GP too? There are so many different ways to go with the control units, I'm assuming we are all only interested in the front and rear bags in the GP pricing.

Well, I checked- here is the response I got:
"Joe, we don't have any bulk order discounts, only a dealer program, if someone owns a automotive based company you guys could place all the orders through him and help him get the buy in and work out a price then. Thanks Jason"
So, we would have to go through a dealer. It seems like he is implying that we could go through anybody with a business ID number, since the GP would satisfy the minimum purchase requirement for a dealer. This is a possibility, since Tax ID #'s are easy to come by in NJ. I'll do some thinking, unless anybody else has some ideas?
