That's the only 1 of the 2 Firehawk race cars that were built that is left. It's currently owned by Dr. Ron Tribble. If you contact him he will also sell you an extra SLP T-Ram that is brand new and never used with the car. He won't sell the T-Ram without the car though. He tried selling the race car on eBay a while ago with no success...

Let's see-I might be able to get 5-6k for my formula, 2k for my merkur, a couple grand for my drumset......I have a feeling this isn't gonna add up I'd cut off body parts for that car though.:hail:

I had the car checked out when I was considering buying. He is asking much less than before. I wish I had not bought the house, otherwise I would have bought it.
As 92 GTA says it is the only firehawk that was raced and has some pedigree. I would much rather have this one than the green one someone is selling for 40grand.

How many options of Ed's SLP are Firehawk features? ... and what is available for any 3rd gen with the 350 small block?
I thought SLP built the Firehawks, pretty much.
Also, for $15K, that's not a bad deal at all.. I will be surprised of no one buys it. I've seen convert Caddies go for that, and on eBay... 930 Porsches!
I'm not that rich, however.
I'd like to throw a few goodies on mine, but keep it an auto., much like the one featured in Hot Rod and HPP magazines not too long ago. That could be a spendy proposition, however.

Considering number 26 was bought less than a year ago for around $25k (I was considering buying it from SLP) the owner is dreaming, in my opinion, of trying to make a killing thinking the value is going to go up that fast. I have been following the prices and they have been dropping and I still think there is some more downside potential. Do I think they will someday make a good collector car, absolutely, but for now I will hedge my bets and wait. If they go up, then I was wrong and when I am ready to buy I will pay more, but if I am right, then waiting will save me some more money on my purchase because I will not buy the car to look at it. It will be driven like it was meant to be driven.

I am not trying to be arguementative, I just think that the price is unreasonable, especially considering what he paid for it just a short time ago and SLP had it for sale for quite a while. I have nothing against the guy or his car. If fact I think it is a great car and I would love to own one also. :hail:
But the fact is why is he spending money advertizing if he does not want to sell? There is a difference between someone coming along and making an offer that he can not refuse and proactively advertizing it for sale.

I think Pontiac should pony up the $$$ and add this car to their collection. Just a passing thought.

But how would you shift the car? lol
I find it weird how a car that rare is for sale on e-bay.
