just want a educated opinion

i'm buying a 84 berlinetta and was told it was a "star wars" editoin because of the digital dash and little stereo mounted on a pedistal. i have seen camaros like this before but never classified as such. Anyone with info on this please let me know! thanks

"Star Wars" was just a slang term used to discribe the exotic dash, not an official name.

Seriously tho, I think the "Star Wars" thing is kind of like back in the late 60's Buick had this really awesome lookin air cleaner, on the GS models. That too got pegged with the "Star Wars" tag...

Chevy actually marketed the Berlinetta as the "Starship Camaro" but the "Star Wars" label stuck with most gearheads.
