91 Firebird 5 speed no power options?

Im thinking about purchasing a 1991 Firebird 305 5 speed manuel with manuel windows, locks and antenna. I know they didn't make many V8 5 speeds with the manuel locks, windows etc....

In a firebird book that i have they mentioned that 93.4% of the 91 firebirds were equiped with power locks, windows, antenna, my question is is this a rare car? with the 5 spd combined to the no power option list(it definitly saves some weight).

rare and collectability are different things.

Granted a 5 speed LO3 Firebird without any options might be rare, but its probably not worth an investment...

If it was a Formula or Trans AM, LB9/M5 or L98/A4 with no options and 1LE, then it might be worth something...

Just because its unusual, or rare, does not make it desirable.

Anybody else want to add their 2 cents? This post is interesting to me because my heritage vert z28 mm5 is kinda rare. But would it also add interest that the only option it has is leather seats?

BTW, I wouldn't advise the combo of leather seats and manual windows because when you lean over to roll the pass side up or down, the seat of you pants slides on the leather and its hard to reach the other side of the car. I'm 6'6" and can barely reach over to the other side of the car!!

Were there really that many '91 Birds with the power antenna option (93.4%)? I was under the impression that pow/ants were kinda rare. Mine came with one, but currently it has a stationary mount.

As to the car in question, if the price was right and it's in good shape, it would still be a fun car to have and drive. I don't miss having power windows on my '92 Chevy truck, but I do miss the power door locks. In any case, pow/windows and locks could be added if you really needed them.

hmm

Interesting, according to the "Firebird Standard Catalog" there were 89% 1991 firebirds equiped with auto transmission and 7% with manuel trans.

The firebird is 100% original, im buying it from the 2nd owner it comes with the orginal build sheet, window sticker and brochures and even the paint still shines like new.

Iv'e been looking for a 91-92 5 spd V8 firebird for a while now, Im from california we have lots of birds outhere but this is the 1st time I came across one with a 305, 5 spd and no power options.. Im picking the car up today i'll try to post pics asap, thanks for the opinions.

I guess it HAS to be asked, you keep stateing 305/5 speed I think LO3, is it a Formula with an LB9, then I would say go for it especially if its in good conditon.
