Re: 1988 Trans-am GTA 5.7
I can't say about the 'blue interior' since I've never heard of blue interior in a GTA, but Gun Metal Grey is a rare color in a Trans Am GTA but even with the 5.7 TPI it's not worth $2,500, Especially when It's not even running, it looks like theres a box inside the car and I can't tell what condition the interior/Upholstery is in so I wouldn't pay for something that I'm unsure about, does the engine need major work to run or is it just a matter of connecting a New Battery for it to Fire up and Run?
so until that Question and More are Answered I wouldn't pay over $1,500 MAX as is. but I'd start offering him 1,000 just to get him to come down and meet me at 1,500

Most Likely it's Leaking or is damaged in some way otherwise it wouldn't need replacing, would it ?.
Yeaaahhh...
I'd Not giving a penny over $1,500 and I would be thinking about lowering my offer when it needs a new windshield, gas tank, Gas tank pressure sensor and the fact that it won't start again after You turn it off

Gunmetal Metallic is a rare color for any GTA, which is a shame because it's one of the best. The color was used on GTAs from 1987 thru mid-1991.
GTAs never had any type of blue interior; outside of the yearly "standard" black, tan, and grey interior hues only the 1987 cars featured a extra color: red.

What kind if seats are they is my question, are they standard firebird seats or are they GTA seats ? You can easily tell by the Headrest, standard Firebirds have a common Headrest while GTAs have a more detailed Headrest. The seats could have been swapped and or reupholstered in blue.

Blue interior!? AFAIK (and also according to the Camaro White Book), no 3rd gen EVER had a factory Blue interior, much less a GTA.

Re: 1988 Trans-am GTA 5.7
Yup ^ on Firebirds it was charcoal center with blue on the sides and Headrest and on Camaro it was sort of mostly blue.
Usually the cars that had blue interior were also blue on he outside or white.
But it was available on early 3rd gens but not late 80's like 1988.

Re: 1988 Trans-am GTA 5.7
Its probably gray.I have seen some gray interiors that become faded and in different light conditions could look like a blue tint to it.

Re: 1988 Trans-am GTA 5.7
Yeah I thought you could (82-84 at least), but somehow didn't see "Blue" listed with the other colors when I looked in the White Book yesterday. Of course now that I'm looking again, it's in there.
I wonder how many Blue interior cars are left, especially with most people rattle canning them glossy black since apparently no one likes Blue interiors...it's probably right up there with Red and Green as far as most often changed interior colors.
