1982 Pace car in England

I picked this up yesterday here in the UK,,,To my knowledge i don't believe there is another one here,,Its pretty much as it left the USA in 1988 even down to the original exhaust and cat....it's a CFI and hasn't seen the light since 1992....gonna be a challenge but worth it in the end

You reckon that Camaro was brought over by a US service member? I brought over a car when I was stationed up by Alconbury. I left it behind when we left. It was a Honda Civic. How cool is that? (Wink)

I had a 4th Gen Ram Air WS6 convertible here awhile back and when we ran the carfax it showed having been exported to Yugoslavia for 90 days. We figured maybe a service member had it sent over and then back quickly for some reason.

Re: 1982 Pace car in England

Do you know what is wrong with the engine? Earlier '82s with CFI did have a problem rainwater draining into the TBIs and flooding the engine...

I am told that it had a knocking noise and had blown a hole in the block. I haven't investigated as it came with another motor but as its a rare car on these shore's i just had to have it
