ABS plastic headliners
Has anyone replaced the old piece of crap headliner with one of the new plastic colored ones that only require cutting out the hole for the courtesy lamp?

haha i know just so nice of me, I just feel like an *** when me/someone else jumps in to a common question with SEARCH. So depending on my mood i'll run a search to help... I was a lurker so long no one had to tell me to search, but low and behold someone nailed me on it the other day.

Thanks 83. I'm gonna buy it since it's all I need for the car.

Also if you read the thread above you will run into a dome light fit issue but can be fixed real easy.

im glad i aint the only one running around with a backwards dome light, lol
dont bother me none, i have lights on my mirror, and the rear seat needed a little more illumination haha
however
the fabric on the one i got from hawks is pretty crappy
its been in for about six months, and the top edges are already faded to grey from black, and they feel like they want to deteriorate already
at least its ABS and i can always recover it without much work though

i wondered if Camaro's had floor lights too
my brothers 86 Firebird also had them, and I was jealous
now i have to crawl down there and see if my bulbs are blown or if it's just the fuse
