Re: Water in trunk Help
Check the weatherstrip first. Another spot to look is the black plastic pieces on the inside part of the hatch; where the glass meets the steel. I had one come loose and water made its way in. Last place I can think of is the seal between the hatch and the glass. I believe there is silicone, or urethane sealant. It may be best to have a friend hose down the car, while you sit in back and look for leaks. Good luck.

Re: Water in trunk Help
hey i had the same problem for about a yeah. I replaced the weather stripping for the hatch and it still leaked. then i detached the spoiler panel from the glass on the hatch and resiliconed it and it still leaked, so finally i ran a bead of silicone along all the edges where the glass meets the spoiler panel panel and it hasn,t leaked ever since.

Re: Water in trunk Help
I was constantly getting water in my trunk, turned out to have holes in the rear wheel wells, and when it rained, the water made its way down in to the lower part of the trunk. Easy fix, some fiberglass hair, and resin.

Re: Water in trunk Help
how about water in the rear drivers passenger foot well. It looks like it's running under the B pillar on the drivers side. Anyone had that and how did you fix it?

Re: Water in trunk Help
Ok found where it is coming from. The spot where the hatch glass meets the bottom part of the lid
What are the steps to fixing this? The water may also possibly be coming from the weatherstripping. But Im 99.9% shure it is not.
Please help thanks guys

Re: Water in trunk Help
Probably the best way is to pull it off, clean all the old sealant then reattach it using the correct sealant.
