Get used to it (from a guy who's been around TGO for a long time). With new members joining on a regular basis, the same questions crop up with an amazing frequency.

Ok 3rdgentroc, i know what you are talking about. But, as I tell my guys, come with a solution not a problem. You could make a step by step guide and post at top. Or, put a kit together and step by step instructions and sell it. OR, hit the pic and pull and put together a setup dash and sell it.

I've done that many times--more often than not, however, I still have to furnish the link .

I thought you were going to talk about getting sick of all the 4th gen dash swaps because I know I am.

Re: not trying to be an *** but honestly people?

Well lets add to the list of questions that can be answered with a quick search.

Lets see........does a 4th gen rear fit?? Can I put LS1 brakes on a 9 bolt (saw this from a long time member that should know better Are 4th gen rears stronger even though they use the EXACT same gears?

My favorite was back when SLP was selling the take out Zexel posi units. The questions was "Do I need all those machinist tools to swap a Zexel in?" Answer was......."If you want to go more than 1 mile with the new posi.....YES it is necessary.

Myself I get tired of telling people to do a search.

Re: not trying to be an *** but honestly people?

LOL to the above. Well another problem i have found that could be contributing to the same questions being asked over and over is the search function is lacking on TGO. An example to try...if you type in in the search "everything i know about the 9 bolt" it will not bring you to that thread. Not even close. I had to find that thread through different means. If the search function worked the way people expect it to then there would not be as may of the same questions floating to the top.
