LED Interior Lighting.. Help with wiring!
I want to put some LED's in the foot wells and on the under side of the dash, but where would I run the power so that they come on when I turn on the driving lights? I can get to the lighting switch, but what wires do i go into? I have a 86 Camaro with the 85mph cluster and no fog lights.

When I did mine I used the wire from the stock stereo that would light up the buttons when the headlights are turned on, took a while to find the wire, because the previous owner tucked it away, but it did the trick.

I would just want to suggest that you don't put them on the driving lights switch. It may be nice now, but after a while those lights can be a pain to see past and you don't always want them on. My buddy wanted to do the same thing and I talked him into running the power off an ignition powered fuse, with a toggle switch to engage them. This way you can have them on day or night as long as the key is turned, and turn them off with the toggle. Just my 2 cents.

What I went ahead and did was ran them off the driving lights, but put a toggle switch on the ground so I can turn them off if I want, but they will still come on with the driving lights. Thanks for the advice though!
