6LE seats in a thirdgen

Re: 6LE seats in a thirdgen
The site lists the fronts as 1982-2002 seats, so they should bolt up fine. 4th gen seats bolt into 3rd gens fine AFAIK, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you plan on getting the matching rear seat covers, you may want to pick up a 4th gen back seat since the foam might be different. I'd email 6le if I were you, they've probably been asked a bunch. Let me know what they tell you, I'm looking to upgrade my seats pretty soon and the 6le seats look really clean.

Wouldn't it also depend if you had a Firebird vs. Camaro? I thought that Firebirds had wider seats with narrower center consoles.

Re: 6LE seats in a thirdgen
I would jump on it if i was not so wide. I think the 16" space between the bolsters would be too tight for me. If you are worried about the brackets try calling someone like Wedge Brackets and see if they can adapt a bracket for you.
